Velvet Chair Salon opened in 2014 in a converted bungalow near downtown Franklin, built on a simple idea: great hair starts with a stylist who actually listens. We kept the studio small on purpose — six chairs, one shampoo lounge, and a waiting area that feels more like a friend's front porch than a lobby.
Every stylist on our team completes ongoing color and cutting education twice a year, so the techniques you see in your feed — from lived-in balayage to sculpted precision bobs — are ones we can actually execute in the chair, not just admire online.
